'Mulberry Cottage' is in a fantastic location on the edge of the North Norfolk salt marshes and adjacent to one of the most interesting parts of the marsh to boot. The marshes are of considerable interest and provide a huge amount of enjoyment to both young and old alike. There is plenty of rich soft mud and acres of golden sand and sea. Mulberry Cottage gives you access to 20,000 acres of marshes and foreshore within a minutes walk.
'Mulberry Cottage' was once part of Stiffkey Army Camp built in the 1930s. During World War II it was an Anti-Aircraft training school. The marshes in those days echoed to the sound of Ack-Ack guns and not sea-birds!

Mulberry is a dog-friendly place, but owners must be responsible and have consideration for those using the house after them. It has an enclosed back garden which should keep children and dogs in. The area is great for walks without having to go on a public road to access the saltings or other footpaths and bridle ways.
However, we do have some basic rules for visiting dogs to ensure that the garden is a safe and clean place for children, and to preserve the cleanliness and condition of the cottage:
